To add insult to injury, Friday’s episode gave fans of the blossoming Klaus/Cami romance everything they’ve ever wanted: The couple swapped “I love you”s, went on a romantic date and even held hands walking in public. Unfortunately, that was all a figment of Klaus’ imagination, planted into the mind of a dying Cami. And even in her dream- like state, Cami seemed characteristically self- aware: “You are loved,” she told Klaus. It will make you the man I know you want to be.

Klaus wins the award for Most Devastating Reaction — an admittedly twisted superlative to hand out mere minutes after someone’s death — but I also lost my s–t over Marcel and Davina’s hug, Hayley’s “It’s not fair” speech and Vincent’s “I still need you” admission. Cami left more of an impression on these characters than any of them realized, and it kills me to see her go. OK, let’s talk about Cami’s (second) death: Are you devastated?
